- Prepare all needed ingredients for the burgers – slice tomatoes, onions, prepare lettuces.
- Take the Canga burger patties and add a generous pinch of salt and pepper to each patty.
- Meanwhile, heat a grill to 220 to 260°C. If you don’t have a thermometer, try to hold your hand above the grill, if can’t hold more than second – it’s ready.
- Place patties on the grill over direct heat.
- Choose what is your favorite doneness of beef patty:
Rare – cook 3 minutes until patty reaches 55°C
Medium-rare – cook 4 minutes until patty reaches 60°C
Medium-well – cook 6 minutes until patty reaches 65°C
Well-done – cook 8 minutes until patty reaches 73°C
- Place Bacon slices on the grill.
- Turn over the patties and bacon at least once due to the cooking time. Don’t press on the patties to not lose juiciness and all goods out of it.
- When you left around one minute for the patty cooking time, add the cheddar or other cheese to the patties and the buttered buns to the grill.
- Let cheese melt and buns caramelize.
- Remove cheesy patties, bacon, and buns from the grill to a plate and leave to rest for 1 minute.
- Serve with some fresh lettuce, sliced tomatoes, onions, your favorite sauce. Can add other ingredients by taste, for example, egg.
*If don’t like fresh onions, can put them on a pan and caramelize with butter till getting golden color.
Enjoy!
